o2 Tutankhamun Exhibition
In November 2007 we received a request from the Exhibitions Organiser at the O2 Arena, formally the Millennium Dome.
They required a marquee that they could use as a reception and dining area for school children visiting the world renowned Tutankhamun Exhibition.
The specifications were quite strict as the structure had to be strong enough to withstand the gusting winds that blow up the Thames from the east but also attractive and aesthetically pleasing enough to be used for corporate functions. | | |
The solution we came up with was a 9 x 18m Bar Tensioned Multispan Marquee which was built meeting British Standard 6399 Part 2 (1192) and manufactured in the colours that match the main O2 arena.
When we presented this solution to the client, they were delighted but told us that the date the needed it had been bought forward. Our production rota was rescheduled and we had the structure erected the day before it was required.
The client was delighted:
“The marquee has been a huge success….thank you for all you have done”
